Ed has been appointed Visiting Professor to the Policy Institute at King’s College London

Ed has been appointed Visiting Professor to the Policy Institute at King’s College London for the 2015-16 academic year.

He will be a member of the team teaching the Institute of Contemporary British History’s innovative new ‘The Treasury and Economic History since 1945’ postgraduate module in partnership with HM Treasury.

Commenting on his appointment as Visiting Professor at the Policy Institute at King’s, Ed said:

‘I am impressed by the drive and vision that the leadership team at King’s have for the Policy Institute. It is filling an important gap and I am honoured to play my part in helping them succeed.’

Welcoming Ed Balls’ appointment, Dr Jon Davis, Director of Partnerships and The Strand Group at the Policy Institute at King’s, and lead academic on ‘The Treasury and Economic History since 1945’ said:

‘Ed Balls is a globally renowned figure, central for the past quarter of a century to economic governance in the UK and beyond. We are delighted that he has agreed to join us and help build our burgeoning teaching of government history.’

Professor Richard Roberts, Professor of Contemporary Financial History and Director of the Institute of Contemporary British History at King’s said:
