Congratulations to Lucy Berry our new Internet Champion 2010

I want to congratulate Lucy Berry from Sharlston Common, who has become the Age Concern and Help the Aged Internet Champion for 2010.

This is fantastic news - Lucy is a true inspiration to people of all ages to get online and take advantage of the many benefits the internet has to offer. Everyone in the local Labour Party and in Sharlston is very proud.

Lucy came down to London to a ceremony at the Ritz Hotel to collect her award. I'm sure her success will encourage older people across our area to start browsing the web too.
